Superabsorbent polymers can mitigate the effects of drought on plants

In the specialist journal for the protection and use of plant genetic resources GENOFOND 1/2022, published by NPPC, an article was published: Superabsorbent polymers can mitigate the effects of drought on plants not only in fields, but also in gardens and orchards. The article was published as part of the cross-border SUPOKLIP project, which addresses the issue of mitigating the impact of drought on agricultural production using the SAP application for the seed of the most important agricultural crops.

This work was supported by the European Regional Development Fund within the Interreg V-A SK-CZ program, project "Use of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) as an innovative tool to mitigate the impacts of climate change in agriculture" ITMS: 304011Y185, under the leadership of Mgr. Marcela Gubišová, PhD. ,Ing. Jozef Gubiš, PhD.
